Confluence is formed from solid Chestnut, selected for the dramatic movement within its grain and burr figure.

Natural voids within the timber are stabilised with dusk-tinted resin, allowing the darker forms to flow through the surface like meeting currents. 

The interaction between pale wood and deeper tones creates a sense of movement across the circular form.

The resin is used with restraint, strengthening the structure while allowing the character of the timber to remain dominant.

Viewed from different angles, the surface reveals shifting patterns within the grain, while the chamfered edge keeps the form visually light and balanced.
