Drift 3/3 is formed from solid walnut, with a broad sweep of pale sapwood framing the darker heartwood through the centre of the piece.

Mocha resin follows the timber's natural edge, filling the irregular voids while preserving the original movement and character of the slab.

The grain becomes the focus here. Dark natural figuring runs lengthways through the walnut before gathering into the more complex markings at one end, contrasted by the clean, pale outer timber and warm translucent resin.

Drift 3/3 is the final piece in a series of three individual tables created from the same walnut slab. Each has its own character, while their shared origin, proportions and resin treatment make the relationship between them unmistakable.
