The elongated form follows the natural direction of the timber, allowing the grain to move uninterrupted across the surface.

Areas of natural fissure are stabilised with dusk-tinted resin, creating darker tones that appear to drift quietly through the wood.

The contrast between pale sapwood and deeper walnut heartwood creates a sense of motion along the length of the piece, emphasising the organic character of the material.

The resin is used with restraint, strengthening the structure while allowing the grain and natural edges of the walnut to remain dominant.
