The natural form of the timber guides the shape of the piece, with the flowing grain running uninterrupted along its length.

A natural fissure through the slab is stabilised with dusk-tinted resin, creating a darker channel that moves through the wood like a quiet current.

The contrast between pale sapwood and deeper walnut heartwood emphasises the organic structure of the timber, giving the piece a strong sense of direction and balance.

Each table represents a different section of the original slab, preserving the natural variation and movement present within the timber.

The resin is used with restraint, strengthening the structure while allowing the natural edges and character of the walnut to remain dominant.
