Two natural live edges run the length of the slab, divided by a deep channel stabilised with garnet-tinted resin that moves through the centre of the piece.

The contrast between the pale holly and the darker resin creates a strong visual line, emphasising the natural form of the timber while giving the table a sense of balance and structure.

The original bark has been carefully preserved along the live edges, maintaining the raw boundary of the tree and reinforcing the organic character of the slab.

Rather than dominating the timber, the resin sits within the natural void between the boards, strengthening the structure while allowing the subtle figure of the holly to remain the primary focus.

Viewed from different angles, the surface reveals small variations in tone and texture within the wood, while the refined bevel keeps the overall form visually light and balanced.
